Executive Director, Cloud Pak for Data
Hemanth Manda is the executive director of offering managementat IBM and is responsible for Cloud Pak for Data & Cloud Pak for Data System offerings. He has broad experience in the technology and software industry spanning a number of strategy and execution roles over the past 20 years. In his current role, Hemanth leads a cross-functional team to simplify and modernize Data & AIportfolio, a $6 B business. Among other things, he is responsible for rationalizing and streamlining Analytics offerings, modernizing Data & AI portfolio to support cloud native architectures and delivering new platform wide capabilities through “Cloud Pak forData”.
In his previous role, he served as a chief of staff to General Manager of IBM Analytics. Prior to that, Hemanth lead the Business Development team responsible for acquisitions,divestitures and strategic partnerships at IBM's Analytics and middleware business units. There he worked on developing division’s buy side M&A strategy, sourcing deal flow, influencing valuation and terms, executing due diligence, developing integration plans and negotiating transactions. He also has experience divesting non-strategic assets and managing strategic relationships with partners
